Some healthy braids for the weekend. Heisann.
Swimming in waterfalls. 14. 06. 2017 kl. 18. 04 i. Spania.
45… I just had to take the quickest shower ever, braid my hair, and sleep as fast as possible.
My picture above shows the braid Stine made on me before putting my makeup on.
I guess it’s difficult to describe the beauty of gliding into Geirangerfjorden on the ship among the massive mountains, waterfalls and old mountain pastures, but you can just imagine
Then I walked up Gamlevegen to the farm Øyna, continued up to and along Zackariasvatnet (here you can park your car if you drive) and continued on a marked trail crossing the waterfall Reindalsfossen and then steeper up to Reindalen
With its amazing beaches, green forests, waterfalls, train rides, mountains, vast national parks, luxurious old towns, rich culture and miles and miles of stunning coastline (with amazing waves for surfers), it is definitely worth a visit if you have the chance
There is a parking lot here (parking fee), but just make sure you don’t go up at the very first trail as you could end up hiking upwards on the wrong side of the river and waterfall (then you will have to hike much longer to cross the river)
This valley will surround you with its many never-ending waterfalls, some greenery and the river flowing from the glacier in the middle – it is just one of the steepest and most beautiful valleys i have ever been to – ice-cold paradise
The goal was the mountain pasture Sunndalssætra, and all the way up I would be accompanied by the beautiful river Sunndøla all the way up to the magnificent waterfall Tverrelvfossen
View from the waterfall trail. At the bridge at Muldalen farm you can choose to do a shorter detour to see Muldalsfossen waterfall from its viewpoint – it’s one of the highest single drop waterfalls in Norway
